On 15 August 2026, Attalaki held an Extraordinary General Assembly, bringing together its members to review the organization’s activities and financial management for 2024 and consider the Auditor’s Report, and adopt revisions to its Statutes.
The General Assembly was held in accordance with Attalaki’s Statutes and the applicable legal framework governing associations in Tunisia. Following verification of members’ attendance, required quorum was confirmed, and the General Assembly proceeded to deliberate on the items included on its agenda.
During the meeting, the General Assembly reviewed the organization’s 2024 Activity Report, providing an overview of the activities, programmes, initiatives, and developments undertaken during the year. The report was discussed by members and subsequently approved by the General Assembly.
The 2024 Financial Report was then presented and examined, covering the organization’s financial resources, expenditures, and overall financial management during the year. Following discussion and consideration by the members, the report was approved by the General Assembly.
The General Assembly also considered the Auditor’s Report for the 2024 financial year, including the observations and conclusions presented by the Auditor. Following discussion, the report was approved by the members.
The final item concerned the revision of Attalaki’s Statutes. The proposed amendments were presented to the members with the objective of ensuring that the organization’s governing framework remains aligned with the development of its activities and organizational needs, while providing greater clarity and coherence to its internal governance. Following a review and discussion of the proposed provisions, the General Assembly approved the revised Statutes in their entirety.
The adoption of the revised Statutes represents an important step in strengthening Attalaki’s institutional and organizational framework and ensuring that its governance structures remain adapted to the continued development of its work.
In accordance with applicable legal provisions, including Law 88-2011 regulating associations in Tunisia, the General Secretariat of the Government and the National Register of Enterprises (RNE) have been duly notified of the updated composition of the Board.
Through this Extraordinary General Assembly, Attalaki reaffirmed its commitment to sound governance, transparency, accountability, and collective decision-making, in accordance with its Statutes and the applicable legal framework governing associations in Tunisia.
The organization will continue to pursue its mission of promoting inclusive civic engagement, cultural and religious pluralism, dialogue, and the preservation of Tunisia’s diverse cultural heritage, while strengthening its institutional capacity and governance.
The revised Statutes, adopted by the Extraordinary General Assembly on 15 August 2026, constitute the organization’s updated governing framework and enter into force in accordance with the applicable legal and administrative procedures. In line with this obligation, Attalaki has notified the competent Tunisian authorities of the revised Statutes within the legally prescribed timeframe.
