Personal Info
I am a highly-motivated and self-driven student with a curious mind, a thirst for knowledge and a long-held ambition to build a career in the domain of international and contemporary affairs. To help reach this goal, I have sought to complement my academic studies by participating in study abroad programmes, to attain a higher level of fluency in modern standard Arabic, and completing several courses which highlight my interest in geopolitics and Middle Eastern affairs. Studying in Egypt and Morocco also provided me a great opportunity to appreciate, understand and respect different cultures and perspectives.
Through research projects, I have gained valuable experience in analysing both primary and secondary sources of information and then using that information to draw insightful conclusions. These research skills are now proving invaluable as my academic IR modules require more comprehensive, focussed and in-depth essay writing.
