I spent two months as an intern with the Attalaki organisation. Working alongside the Attalaki team, I received valuable insights and experiences that have significantly contributed to my professional development. Over the course of this internship, I was involved in several projects and tasks, focusing on audio-visual productions. Overall, this has provided me with an excellent hands-on learning experience and growth in several key areas.
Highlights of My Experience:
1. Hands-on Learning: I was able to attend high-level meetings and broadened my skills through writing the official minutes for them. This was my first time tackling such real-world situations. This practical experience not only deepened my understanding but also enhanced my problem-solving skills.
2. Team Collaboration: I not only able to work alongside the Attalaki team but I was also able to organise a collaborative event with the Taa Marbouta language school. I was responsible for coordination prior to the event, and I also presided over the event. Working closely with team members taught me the importance of effective communication and collaboration. I also appreciated the opportunity to lead and contribute ideas and insights while learning from experienced professionals.
3. Skill Development: The internship allowed me to develop and refine specific skills relevant to my professional development. I am especially grateful to my mentor for her efforts to improve my professionalism and ensure I have a wide range of skills moving forwards. I was also able to hone my skills of data analysis, project management and technical writing. These skills will undoubtedly benefit me in my future career endeavours.
4. Professional Growth: Throughout the internship, I received constructive feedback, through my mentor, that helped me improve my work and adapt to new challenges. This continuous learning environment was instrumental in my growth as a professional.
My internship with the Attalaki organisation was an enriching experience that surpassed my expectations. I am grateful for the knowledge gained, the relationships formed, and the professional growth achieved during this period. I look forward to applying what I have learned to future opportunities and am confident that the skills and experiences gained will serve me well in my career.
